The National Rural ITS Conference has been cancelled for 2017. There is ongoing discussion to host an event 2018. Stay Tuned!
Together, we improve rural ITS.
This conference will provide participants an opportunity to network and share experiences within and across a wide variety of ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) disciplines. In addition to traditional ITS topics, this event will bring together both traditional and non-traditional ITS users to address such issues as rural safety, multi-agency coordination, and workforce development, as well as EMS and transit issues.
The many different training and networking opportunities available through this event will provide participants with the tools necessary to effectively plan and deploy ITS technologies within their own jurisdictions, many of which are rural, which is our focus.
Who Should Attend?
Public and private transportation, transit, tourism, enforcement, trucking, public safety and medical service professionals engaged in the operations, maintenance, and use of our transportation system should attend this Conference. Elected and appointed officials, business and community leaders and emergency responders and public safety personnel will contribute to the rich dialogue while learning about the technical challenges facing the transportation community.
